Private Beta Terms

By requesting access to or using Auction Alpha, you agree to these terms. The service is an evolving private beta intended for invited business users who can enter a binding agreement and who are responsible for their accounts and credentials.

Beta service and permitted use

You may use the service to evaluate inventory and support lawful liquidation and resale decisions. You may not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, evade usage limits, upload unlawful or malicious material, or use the service in a way that violates another person's rights.

Your data

You retain rights in manifests and other data you upload. You grant Auction Alpha the limited rights needed to host, copy, process, analyze, and display that data to operate and improve the service. You represent that you have the right to provide the data for these purposes.

Market evidence and decisions

Marketplace information, resale estimates, and analytical outputs are informational only and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Auction Alpha does not guarantee auction profitability, resale prices, sales volume, sell-through, or marketplace outcomes. You remain responsible for diligence, bids, purchases, listings, and business decisions.

Third-party services

The service relies on third-party hosting, authentication, monitoring, email, marketplace, and data services. Their availability and terms may affect Auction Alpha.

Availability, ownership, and termination

Features, limits, and availability may change during the beta, and access may be suspended or ended for misuse, security concerns, or discontinuation of the beta. Auction Alpha and its licensors retain rights in the service, software, branding, and documentation. These terms do not transfer those rights to you.

Disclaimers and liability

The beta is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Auction Alpha will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from the beta. Any aggregate liability will be limited to amounts you paid for the service during the three months before the claim; for a free beta, that amount is zero. Some jurisdictions do not allow every limitation, so applicable law may provide additional rights.

Changes, governing law, and contact

We may update these terms as the beta changes and will identify the current version by its effective date. Governing law and venue will be specified before paid or broader public use; applicable law governs in the meantime. Questions may be sent by replying to the Auction Alpha beta email or other contact channel provided directly to you.
